Ian Patrick was seated on the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in December 2025. Since his appointment, his achievements have been noteworthy.

Ian previously served two terms on the Harrisburg Town Council from 2019 - 2025 where he also served as the Chair of the Board of Adjustment and has served as an alternate representative for the Centralina Regional Council.

CAREER & AWARDS
Ian Patrick is an Architect and holds registrations in North and South Carolina. He attended UNC Charlotte and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture. He owns an architecture firm that was founded in 2015.
In 2022, Ian was awarded the prestigious Charlotte Business Journal's 40 under 40 Award.
Ian serves on the board of the Construction Professionals Network (CPN), and is Board Chair of CPNI, the non-profit arm that provides free workshops to struggling rural towns in North Carolina. The group provides recommendations and resources to help grow their economies.
He is a member of the Cabarrus Chamber and the NCEDA (North Carolina Economic Development Association), a former member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC) where he has served on various boards and committees.
Ian lives in Harrisburg with his wife Erin and their two children Uriah (15) and Stevie Jean (6).
